“In fact, it’s been shown that 28% of employees who take advantage of certifications like the free courses we offer said they earned a pay rise, while 61% said they were promoted. That’s why we’re committed to investing in learning at every level,” he stressed.

Training Now, SAP Certification Exam Later

Aside from learning about ERP in-depth, part of the program is to introduce to qualified students in APJ the basic concepts of low-code/no-code software development, which includes building applications and business process automation without writing any code by using the SAP Build toolset. Though application for free vouchers is limited until November, learners can continue to sit for certification exams until 31st of December 2022.

Under the  “Utilize Low-Code/No-Code Applications and Automations for Citizen Developers” student zone program, participants will get a chance to hone a new set of skills in bite-sized lessons in preparation for the SAP certification exam for citizen developers.

The six-unit-program that runs between one and a half to 2 and a half hours per session covers the following :

Unit 1- Becoming a Citizen Developer with SAP Learning

Unit 2- Developing a Process with SAP Build Process Automation

Unit 3- Composing a No-Code Mobile App With SAP Build

Marriott also shared this great news on LinkedIn and highlighted that SAP is committed to learning at every level across the company and in APJ. He said:

“Learning means creating opportunity. I believe these courses will inspire and equip everyone to enter the exciting world of technology, so they too can continue to build a better world.”

He also commended SAP’s Chief Technology Officer and Executive Board Member Juergen Mueller’s announcement at SAPTechEd of the software enterprise giant’s pledge to empower women and underrepresented individuals with digital skills and the company’s latest partnership with Coursera to help upskill the workforce. This initiative is part of SAP’s ambitious goal to upskill 2 million people worldwide by 2025.
