With the help of a newly-formed Qualtrics Centre of Excellence (CoE), Indian multinational systems integrator Infosys will bring Qualtrics experience management (XM) solutions to the market.

As one of the leading global providers of next-generation digital consultancy services, Infosys helps customers navigate digital transformation in today’s economy. The Bengaluru-headquartered IT firm has a pool of XM consultants, architects, and industry experts that intend to provide end-to-end Qualtrics services across a diverse range of industries. In a bid to better represent employees and customers, Infosys strives to provide organisations with relevant performance indicators for an enhanced user experience (UX).

Recently, the company expanded its collaboration with the Utah-based software technology company through the establishment of a Qualtrics CoE aimed at delivering Qualtrics XM solutions, which are included in the Infosys Cobalt cloud offerings. Aside from making these solutions available in the market, the main goal of the partnership is to support organisations in improving the customer experience (CX), employee experience (EX), as well as the supplier experience.

RJ Filipski, Global Head of Ecosystem at Qualtrics, said in a joint announcement:

“Experience management has become key to business success. Customers and employees have higher expectations than ever. Qualtrics’ collaboration with Infosys will help organisations around the world deliver great experiences at scale. By understanding their customers, employees, and suppliers and taking action on their feedback.”

Delivering Qualtrics Experience Management Solutions

In order to assist procurement, finance, and supply chain leaders in ensuring the efficiency of their operations, Infosys stated that it intends to utilise XM for Suppliers to integrate operational data from an organisation’s SAP systems. On top of increasing buyer productivity and improving relationships with suppliers, this solution also aims to increase the satisfaction of the procurement function’s internal clients.

Meanwhile, Infosys offerings based on Qualtrics’ EmployeeXM for IT and XM for Suppliers enable companies to provide personalised experiences by collecting and evaluating experience data from the two groups — employees and suppliers.

Commenting on the latest development for the company, Dinesh Rao, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Enterprise Application Services at Infosys, stated:

“Companies are increasingly focused on making data-driven decisions. These decisions need to be based on real-time customer and employee insights. We are delighted to engage with Qualtrics, and together help organisations develop and implement experience management solutions and capabilities. These solutions improve process effectiveness and deliver better business outcomes.”

Infosys’ Contribution as an SAP Partner

Aside from being a Qualtrics Partner, Infosys is also an SAP Global Strategic Services Partner that works closely with the German tech giant to leverage its expertise with SAP Industry Cloud and other advanced infrastructure for accelerating digital transformation processes. The company recently helped Syngenta, one of the world’s leading science-based agri-tech enterprises, to deploy numerous Qualtrics technologies and integrate them with the company’s current SAP ERP system. The Qualtrics XM Platform was integrated with the firm’s SAP solution to improve the business-to-business (B2B) customer experience, according to Syngenta’s Global Head of Customer Services and Customer Master Data Guillaume Manchelle.

Moreover, Infosys and Google Cloud have also teamed up this month to facilitate the adoption of the Google Cloud Cortex Framework, which enables new insights and business models to be powered by SAP and non-SAP data. With the addition of the Google Cloud Cortex Framework to Infosys Cobalt offerings, the company is bringing together its data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), SAP and cloud capabilities to help customers maximise their return on digital investments.

Built on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) and running on the cloud infrastructure of its hyperscaler partners, SAP Industry Cloud solutions extend the Intelligent Enterprise strategy across different industries. The portfolio is designed to address specific core business needs of customers within their markets, including those in the professional services sector.

Being classified among the leading next-generation digital services and consulting providers globally, Infosys helps customers in more than 50 countries accelerate their digital transformation by leveraging industry expertise from its innovation ecosystem and network of alliances. As an SAP Global Strategic Services Partner, the Indian multinational company has been working closely with the German enterprise software giant to make use of its expertise and experience with industry cloud, advanced infrastructure, massive resource pool, and a variety of tools and accelerators built for expediting transformation processes. Its collaboration with SAP has already developed innovative new solutions across multiple industries such as Personalised Medicine, Clinical Trial and Supply Chain Management (CTSM), Retail Execution, and Enhanced Customer Experience to name a few.

Moreover, the Bengaluru-based IT firm is included in the first three strategic partners to assist customers in achieving process transformation through SAP Business Process Intelligence (BPI) solutions. The said partnership combines SAP BPI’s capabilities with Infosys’ implementation knowledge, as well as its extensive tools and methodologies. This month, the company launched a Business Process Transformation-as-a-Service (BPTaaS) offering that will augment RISE with SAP to help minimise complexity for customers and speed up value realisation by making use of the company’s portfolio of industry cloud solutions.

Taking a step ahead to further strengthen its alliance with SAP, Infosys recently unveiled a new cloud-native Business-to-Business (B2B) solution which is included in the SAP Industry Cloud portfolio for the professional services sector. Known as the Leads and Proposals Solution, it is a modular industry-specific platform based on SAP BTP. According to the company, it intends to provide a “lean yet intuitive” approach for organisations to manage pursuit cycles, enable lead nurturing, convert opportunities, and efficiently track leads.

Expanding SAP Industry Cloud Portfolio with the Infosys’ Leads and Proposals Solution

Recognising the need for professional services firms to tackle today’s challenges in managing and converting leads that affect their revenue and growth, Dinesh Rao, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Enterprise Application Services at Infosys, emphasised that the latest solution provides a great example of how Infosys and SAP can help businesses “transform into a Live Enterprise.” Commenting on the expanded partnership with the German tech giant, he said:

“We are excited to collaborate with SAP to bring this unique solution that will help our customers seamlessly optimise, extend, and transform their core business processes. Infosys’s deep domain expertise and proven experience in SAP’s offerings will drive our joint vision to deliver better results for our clients.”

Aside from being a part of Infosys Cobalt — a variety of services, solutions, and platforms that assist enterprises in their cloud journey — the Leads and Proposals Solution also integrates with SAP S/4HANA Cloud and leverages predictive analytics, SAP Conversational AI service, and SAP Analytics Cloud to drive digital transformation in the professional services industry. Additionally, a customisable dashboard is included in this comprehensive solution to improve insight into lead conversion, new customers, and the win-loss ratio.

Infosys stated that the Leads and Proposal Solution intends to reduce operational costs for partners, give an increased focus on opportunities, improve revenue growth by accelerating lead conversion rates, enhance delivery quality and decrease the number of unstaffed engagements, as well as save analysis and reporting costs through automated dashboards and KPIs.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Rhodes, Global Vice President and Head of Professional Services at SAP, believes the newly launched offering will add significant value to professional services companies as they look to drive new profitable business. He added:

“Leveraging key technologies, this agile cloud-native solution integrates into the overall lead-to-cash process with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, providing streamlined, smart opportunity management. We look forward to continued collaboration with Infosys to create innovative solutions and applications for customers who want to drive cost-effective and sustainable growth in their industry.”

Following its latest strategic collaboration with the German enterprise software giant, Infosys will leverage capabilities from SAP Business Process Intelligence (SAP BPI) to develop and provide a new Business Process Transformation-as-a-Service (BPTaaS) offering to customers.

With more than four decades of experience in managing the systems of global enterprises, Infosys utilises its technological expertise, industry knowledge, and network of alliances to help clients — across a range of sectors in over 50 countries — navigate their digital transformation journeys. Last year, the Bengaluru-based multinational company has integrated the Infosys Personalised Medicine Solution into several solutions from SAP such as SAP S/4HANA, the SAP C/4HANA Suite, SAP Analytics Cloud, and the SCI platform to enable pharmaceutical companies in deriving intelligent insights into personalised patient experiences, as well as resolve critical business challenges and meet regulatory requirements.

During this year’s SAPPHIRE NOW online conference, the German tech giant launched the SAP Process Insights solution, which is part of the SAP BPI portfolio of products, to help track process workflows using data collected from its enterprise resource planning (ERP) suite. The solution aims to deliver transparency about additional sources of value within SAP S/4HANA or the SAP ERP application to maximise returns across business areas. Infosys, together with EY and Deloitte, was named a strategic partner working with the SAP BPI portfolio to help organisations achieve process transformation.

As part of this partnership, Infosys will place SAP BPI at the core of its process transformation services, utilise its accelerators and methodologies, as well as its innovative use cases on Live Enterprise Suite, to address customers’ evolving process transformation needs. Recently, the Indian global systems integrator and next-generation digital services provider has announced a new BPTaaS offering that will augment RISE with SAP — a flexible bundle of SAP’s cloud services delivered through a subscription licencing model and is designed to give customers freedom of deployment for their business transformation.

Putting SAP BPI at the Centre of Infosys’ New BPTaaS Product

Infosys’ latest offering aims to minimise complexity for customers and speed up value realisation by utilising the company’s portfolio of industry cloud solutions. These are a part of Infosys Cobalt, a variety of services, solutions, and platforms to assist enterprises in their cloud journey. Commenting on the new partnership with Infosys, Rouven Morato, General Manager of Business Process Intelligence at SAP, remarked:

“The value of BPI extends beyond IT and actually impacts how businesses operate. Our blended expertise with Infosys, will enable enterprises to accelerate their digitisation journey and scale their businesses globally.”

The BPTaaS product, according to Infosys, intends to allow businesses to outsource their process transformation to specialists and experts who can consistently and incrementally improve the efficiency of their processes. Dinesh Rao, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Enterprise Application Services at Infosys, said that BPI is becoming an increasingly important part of the enterprise transformation journey as the more organisations continue to move towards the cloud. Reflecting on the collaboration with SAP, he maintained:

“We are delighted to work with SAP in bringing the best-in-class offering to clients for enhancing their process efficiencies. By harnessing our Cobalt portfolio, we look forward to improving the inefficient business processes that become an impediment to enterprises’ transformation journey. Given our strong relationship with SAP, we will continue to deliver value and innovative solutions to our clients.”

SAP S/4HANA, SAP C/4HANA suite, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SCI platform power the modular solution by Infosys for pharmaceutical companies to utilise.

Indian multinational company Infosys brings a groundbreaking solution that would further advance the pharmaceutical industry. As a global leader in next-generation digital services and consulting, the company intends to digitise processes, streamline the supply chain, and deliver personalised patient experience for pharmaceutical companies worldwide.

The modular solution, known as the Infosys Personalized Medicine Solution, leverages intelligent solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP C/4HANA suite, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SCI platform. With this technology integration, pharma companies can derive intelligent insights that would empower them to resolve critical business challenges and regulatory requirements as well as deliver personalised patient experience.

Driving Business Outcome and Patient Experience

Aside from digitally transforming processes and helping companies achieve their bottom line, more importantly; the Infosys Personalized Medicine Solution can manage individual patient treatment lifecycle from enrollment and scheduling to post medical treatments by using advanced analytics. Consequently, it can notably reduce the patient treatment lifecycle.

Moreover, the Infosys solution takes advantage of blockchain and IoT in managing critical cold chains and outcome-based invoicing. Pharmaceutical companies can accelerate product launches with the intelligent solution’s capability to seamlessly integrate into an existing business process with minimal disruptions and reduction in implementation time.

“With rapid growth in digital technologies and advances in biology, the personality

ed medicine market is projected to grow significantly, and we see a huge opportunity in this space,” said Subhro Mallik, SVP & Global Head of Life Sciences at Infosys.

Digital technologies can help pharma companies accelerate their time to market and provide better patient experiences. Our Personalized Medicine Solution, leveraging SAP S/4HANA, will help ensure that traditional pharma companies are able to digitally transform themselves with minimum disruption,” Mallik added.

Saurabh Gupta, Chief Research Officer at the business analytics company HfS Research shared that the top strategic objective across the healthcare and life sciences industry today is consumer-centricity, which aligns with the new Infosys solution’s objective. He shared:

I am most excited about the personalised comprehensive visibility and transparency that this solution from Infosys and SAP offers to the patient by bringing together the complex network of entities (payer, provider, and pharma) that they have to deal with.”

SAP S/4HANA as the Digital Core

Joe Miles, SVP and Head of HCLS Business Unit at SAP, emphasised how pharmaceutical companies leverage SAP’s next-generation, intelligent ERP business suite SAP S/4HANA in driving new therapeutic models like the Personalised Medicine. Miles explained:

“To make this possible, life sciences leaders are disrupting their business models and supply chains to successfully deliver these life-saving and individualised therapies. Organisations must evolve from a traditional “make to stock” model to a highly personalised “make to order” model. This requires aggregating and analysing massive amounts of genomic, therapeutic, and patient data, in real-time, to execute an end-to-end process, at scale.”

On SAP S/4HANA as an intelligent solution and with SAP’s partnership with Infosys, Miles elaborated:

“SAP S/4HANA provides a digital core to help enable the intelligent life sciences enterprise and deliver these remarkable drugs and devices. The partnership of SAP S/4HANA with Infosys’ Personalized Medicine Solution will allow organisations to leverage their SAP S/4HANA digital core investments, combined with Infosys’ thought-leading expertise, to enable our customers’ growth and scale in this new market.”
