SAP Labs India: Best Place to Work

SAP Labs India, founded in 1998, is SAP’s largest and one of the earliest Research and Development Center outside its headquarters in Germany and a part of SAP Labs Network’s 20 Labs in 17 countries.

SAP SE announced SAP Labs India as the number 1 company in the list of India’s Best Companies to Work for 2019 by the Great Place to Work Institute, a global authority on building, sustaining and recognizing high-trust, high-performing workplace cultures. The R&D center topped the 900 participating companies surveyed across 20 industries. The distinction award has been given to the company for two consecutive years exemplifying its inclusive culture, which empowers continuous learning.

At SAP, we have made considerable investments to create a culture in which innovation, learning, and entrepreneurship is encouraged and rewarded,” said the Managing Director of SAP Labs India, Dilipkumar Khandelwal.

Aside from advocating innovation and honing talents, SAP Labs India embraces SAP’s culture of global diversity, promoting a working environment that is non-hierarchical, fluid and flexible. Some of the company’s best-in-class employee initiatives include peer-to-peer learning platforms, women’s support in different phases of their career and entrepreneurial mindset campaign.
