According to the Global 2024 IDC Infobrief “The Importance of AI in Supply Chain and Operations,” sponsored by SAP, a significant majority of supply chain executives (63%) and operations executives (52%) have established AI strategies aligned with their business objectives. The survey, which included 2,000 respondents, revealed that 51% of companies are integrating AI into their supply chain planning processes and key applications to enable real-time decision-making. Additionally, 58% of the respondents reported using AI to boost operational efficiency and employee productivity.
