Indian multinational conglomerate Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd. (LTI) launched the LTI Innovation Studio leveraging the Business Technology Platform by SAP in a bid to accelerate the “Intelligent Enterprise” vision through digital transformation efforts.
During the recently concluded SAP Sapphire 2022 event, the Mumbai-based global technology consulting company announced that the LTI Innovation Studio aims to help global enterprises expedite their digital transformation utilising SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) and RISE with SAP — the German tech giant’s Business Transformation as a Service (BTaaS) signature cloud offering. According to SAP Senior Vice President and Head of Strategic Partners Marc Rolfe, LTI delivers a rich heritage of SAP industry-centric and software-enabled innovations as a strategic SAP partner globally. He further added:
“LTI Innovation Studio for SAP Business Technology Platform in combination with LTI’s portfolio of service offerings for the RISE with SAP solution will help accelerate an organisation’s journey to becoming an intelligent enterprise while driving business value with digital innovations built on SAP BTP.”
Moreover, Larsen & Toubro Infotech’s strategic alliance with the German software vendor — spanning over two decades — empowers the IT consulting firm to get involved in the SAP S/4HANA Movement initiative that helps expedite the promotion and adoption of SAP S/4HANA, the enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform for large companies. As an SAP customer, LTI has already implemented SAP S/4HANA in the cloud in 2018 intending to accelerate innovation and achieve the agility it needed at the time.
Leveraging Business Technology Platform by SAP
LTI Innovation Studio for SAP BTP supports digitalisation with readily available applications, micro-services, and a migration dashboard. The offering is a combination of tools and features that automate business processes, making them more efficient by using SAP BTP technologies including SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), enterprise integration APIs, and user experience (UX) extensibility capabilities.
Larsen & Toubro Infotech Executive Vice President and Global Head of SAP Practice Vineet Moroney believes that the post-pandemic setting has made it crucial for every enterprise to run like a digital-native business. He explained:
“Many enterprises have made significant investments in SAP solutions and are now looking to accelerate their digital transformation journeys on top of such investments. LTI has an extraordinary record of innovating with SAP solutions. LTI Innovation Studio for SAP Business Technology Platform is our latest investment that allows businesses to accelerate their digital native transformation.”
Furthermore, the SAP Partner also leveraged SAP BTP to develop multiple SAP-certified industry cloud solutions that are now available to businesses all over the world through the SAP Store. The company’s extensive industry knowledge and sophisticated digital engineering enabled it to develop numerous solutions that are applicable across a variety of business sectors, including engineering and construction, manufacturing, and the life sciences among others.
Last year, LTI unveiled a strategic alliance with DyFlex Solutions, an Australian business solutions, where they utilised SAP for Construction solutions to deliver rapid ERP implementations to the Engineering, Construction, and Operations (EC&O) industry. The collaboration between DyFlex Solutions and LTI’s group of software experts helped provide construction businesses in Australia with a unified enterprise platform to handle complex and industry-specific operations including project costings, scheduling, and performance management.
