SAP has introduced new features of SAP Store to simplify the digital shopping experience of customers making their journeys to the intelligent enterprise.
The software company’s new consolidated marketplace, called SAP Store and available at store.sap.com, has been established by merging SAP Store for SAP solutions with SAP App Center for partner solutions. Users of SAP Store can now benefit from new features that include a favorites section, tips for filtering, an updated category menu, and a guided search model.
The merging of SAP’s two marketplaces further elevates its partner ecosystem and strengthens its commitment to a customer-first approach by delivering the most relevant solutions tailored to individual customer needs.
Sharon Ruddock, Head of SAP Digital Commerce, said in a statement that SAP prioritises its customers’ and partners’ journey to becoming intelligent enterprises by establishing a seamless, unified digital marketplace platform for them. She stressed:
“We are committed to continuing to create this environment for our customers online, whether they are choosing a solution from SAP or an offering from one of our validated partners. Now, with the capability to discover SAP and partner offerings in one marketplace with an integrated and flexible search functionality, customers can find and access what they need faster and more intelligently than ever before, regardless of whom the solution is from.”
Meanwhile, IDC Research Director Frank Della Rosa said that customers value the ability to search for SAP and partner solutions simultaneously.
“The guided search also is vital to those seeking solutions via SAP’s Store, and the clean design and intuitive site navigation make discovery quick and frictionless at a time where speed and agility are critical success factors,” he added.
Newly Improved SAP Store Elevates Shopping Experience for Customers
The consolidated SAP Store maximises solution exposure and helps partners gain benefits from the marketplace by delivering their integration kits, applications, and add-ins to SAP’s global customers.
The single digital marketplace brings together all of the tech giant’s available offerings from SAP Store and over 1,800 solutions from SAP’s trusted partners previously available through SAP App Center.
Additionally, SAP Store makes it easier for customers to browse through SAP and partner solutions by categories, products, lines of business, and industries. The following are the new capabilities of the consolidated platform:
- A personalised favorites section allowing customers to save product pages and return to them later to contrast and compare with other offerings.
- Tips for filtering feature suggesting the next-best steps for customers when they get to the search results page.
- An updated category menu enabling users to navigate through expanded categories of products whether by solution type, product category, or industry.
- An intuitively guided search model reducing the need for repeat searches by refining keywords and pointing customers to relevant product pages.
One of the latest additions to the SAP-validated partner apps and solutions in the SAP Store is Avo Assure. The solution has been developed by Avo Automation, a division of SAP Partner SLK Software headquartered in Bengaluru, India. It helps businesses that leverage SAP technologies in delivering streamlined test automation to adapt to the changing business dynamics of SAP environments.
Moreover, SAP aims to provide a new digital shopping experience for customers by allowing them to discover products that best suit their needs. According to the tech giant, it will plant a tree for each purchase made through the new consolidated marketplace.
