Baicells Technologies has recently implemented RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Private Edition) to help create an end-to-end digital platform that integrates all core business processes. By deploying the SAP ERP cloud software, the Chinese company aims to improve operational management efficiency and meet future business development needs as part of its wider digital transformation strategy.

In China, cloud services have grown into a significant market and continue to pick up speed as an increasing number of organisations, of all sizes and types, digitise their business processes and internal systems. According to an IDC report, 55{aa282f308afcc222aaa21b0478c79e01a8fedd01972e2180867097bd93930f22} of new enterprise applications in the country will be cloud-native by the end of 2021. Additionally, it is expected that 70{aa282f308afcc222aaa21b0478c79e01a8fedd01972e2180867097bd93930f22} of China’s top 500 organisations will adopt a multi-cloud management strategy that includes both public and private clouds by 2024.

When SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition officially landed in China in early 2021, the word “innovation” was specifically highlighted in the announcement of SAP China’s strategy. Furthermore, SAP stated that it would enhance innovation and localisation efforts with an emphasis on fostering collaboration and strengthening strategic partnerships by offering more innovative, agile, and easy-to-deploy cloud solutions. This is in addition to optimising and integrating customer-facing teams to provide more efficient services that meet the specific needs of the Chinese market.

Recently, the German tech giant has added leading global LTE and 5G solutions provider Baicells Technologies to its roster of customers that have adopted RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition. Leveraging the SAP ERP cloud software, the Beijing-based firm aims to build its cloud digital core on the platform and further develop a comprehensive, collaborative, and end-to-end business system covering vital operations on research and development (R&D), manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and marketing.
