Thai logistics firm, JWD Infologistics Public Company Limited, is implementing SAP Business One software in collaboration with Humanica Ltd, a leading SAP Business One reseller in Thailand.
The single, integrated solution will provide JWD Group with a cost-effective method of managing its financial, sales and purchase functions.
The implementation will provide visibility into the entire business and control over every aspect of its operations, capturing all critical business information for real-time access company-wide. According to SAP, it will help provide a strong backbone system and standardised processes across all the sub-groups as well as eliminating many manual processes.
“Right now, there are different sub-businesses under the whole JWD Group, with each different line of business using their own local software which creates disparate processes and workflows,” said Dr Eakapong Tungsrisanguan, chief financial officer, JWD InfoLogistics Public Company Limited.
“There is also a lack of a backbone system and no standardized processes across the different sub-groups of companies, making it difficult to track and analyse all the data collected across the group. Additionally, all reports are manually created by using Excel, leading to time wasted as users are required to spend time creating these reports.
“We plan to roll out this implementation of SAP Business One to our subsidiaries under the JWD Group, to enable real-time and accurate information and standardised business process of the whole group. With these positive results, we expect our workforce to work faster, better and more cost-effective than before,” Tungsrisanguan said.
