SingEx Digitalisation in Full Swing with SAP

Since 1978, SingEx Group has played an integral role in the development of the exhibitions and events industry in the Asian region. It is comprised of four closely linked companies such as  SingEx Venues, Venues International, Exhibitions and SingEx Exhibition Ventures.

SAP has announced its collaboration with SingEx Holdings Pte Ltd to help drive the transformation of its global finance operations in Southeast Asia, China, India and the UK by deploying SAP S/4HANA Cloud. 

SingEx, wholly owned by Temasek Holdings, one of Singapore’s largest investment holding companies, leverages SAP’s capabilities in providing an end-to-end view of the customer lifecycle and enterprise processes through its best in class software solutions in building a robust, adaptable and scalable Global Finance System.

Rizwan Hazarika, Chief of Digital and Technology Office at SingEx said:

“Through this collaboration, SingEx is currently developing a longer-term digital roadmap that includes the extension of services and integration with our ecosystem of front-end sales, marketing, and fulfillment systems.” 

Hazarika also shared that the company is looking into solutions for food and beverage services, data management, analytics, and warehousing. 

As part of the Singapore-based company’s digitalisation, its Global Finance System will be powered by SAP’s superior solution S/4HANA along with SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Analytics Cloud and Opentext Cloud. The SAP platform will also feature planning, business intelligence, predictive analytics, and machine learning capabilities. These future-proof technologies and system architecture are poised to support the organization’s growth ambition.

 “With the successful roll-out of the first SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation in Singapore and its overseas subsidiaries, SingEx moves closer to full digitalisation and achieves actionable insights across the business, creating value for our internal and external stakeholders,” stated Desmond Goh, CFO of SingEx. He added:

“Strategic adoption of leading technologies and digital initiatives at SingEx Holdings will continue to drive better decision making through the use of analytics and to bolster data governance and reporting.”

Seeing the potential of the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) Market’s projected global revenue to reach US$1,439.3 billion in 2025 and US$441.1 billion in the Asia Pacific alone, the Group has gone full-throttle on its digital transformation to drive efficiencies and develop new go-to-market strategies.

Khor Chern Chuen, SAP Singapore’s Managing Director said:
