SAP for HR Solutions Recognised by Forrester and Gartner

SAP for HR solutions– SAP SuccessFactors HXM suite and Learning Management System (LMS)– were recognised in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Cloud HCM Suites for 1,000+ Employee Enterprise and in The Forrester Wave™: Learning Management Systems and Experience Platforms, Q4 2021 report, respectively.

According to Gartner, though the majority (60{aa282f308afcc222aaa21b0478c79e01a8fedd01972e2180867097bd93930f22}) of global midsize and large companies will have invested in a cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) suite for administrative HR and talent management by 2025, 20{aa282f308afcc222aaa21b0478c79e01a8fedd01972e2180867097bd93930f22}-30{aa282f308afcc222aaa21b0478c79e01a8fedd01972e2180867097bd93930f22} will still be needing other solutions to fulfill their HR requirements. SAP SuccessFactors is well-positioned in the HCM market offering solutions to support end-to-end human resource processes– from core HR and payroll to workforce planning and employee experience management. 

Through the years, SAP’s HCM arm has been recognised by leading market research companies for driving innovation and advancing the capabilities of HR. SAP SuccessFactors recently received back-to-back recognitions from analyst firms Forrester and Gartner, further strengthening its position in the HCM and talent management segment.

Leader in Learning Management Systems and Experience Platforms

SAP was named a Leader in “The Forrester Wave: Learning Management Systems and Experience Platforms, Q4 2021” against 9 vendors across 28 criteria– achieving the highest rank in the market presence and strategy categories. Specifically, the Forrester report highlighted that SAP SuccessFactors is a resources powerhouse offering customers in-house research capabilities and in-suite capabilities and integration across all business levels.

“SAP SuccessFactors has a rich set of capabilities to support learners, administrators, and facilitators. [It] is a strong fit for enterprise buyers looking for a solution that connects learning to business outcomes, provides robust integration, and has a strategy grounded in learning science,” the report stated.

SAP SuccessFactors President Jill Popelka emphasised that learning is a critical differentiator in business transformation. She added:

“It’s no longer limited to compliance training. Today, our customers are using SAP SuccessFactors learning solutions to help their employees build new skills and capabilities, adjust to changing regulations and demands, and discover new career paths. By helping people learn in a way that is consumable and aligned to their interests, organizations can help them develop a career that is personally fulfilling while also benefitting the business.”

Leader in Cloud HCM Suites

SAP emerged as a Leader in “Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Cloud HCM Suites for 1,000+ Employee Enterprises” for its outstanding capabilities in geographic localisation, talent management, and workforce management (WFM). (InsideSAP Asia often references articles from websites in other languages to bring you as much information as possible.)

There are over 12,000 customers across 200 countries leveraging SAP SuccessFactors HXM solutions and over 4,800 customers using SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central today. The report recognised SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite’s payroll module– having over 45 localisations– and SAP’s capability to track compliance requirements for 101 countries in the core HR module. In addition, SAP also excelled in its WFM capabilities such as the SuccessFactors Time Tracking solution and reselling of WorkForce Software solutions as integrated parts of the SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite.

Furthermore, SAP received a high rating for both prehire and post-hire talent management functions, specifically for recruiting and performance management.
