SAP Ariba has announced that it intends to make its cloud-based procurement applications available in China by the end of 2016, enabling Chinese businesses to collaborate with trading partners through a single digital marketplace.

China is experiencing growing demand for efficient solutions for businesses to better manage operations and connect with trading partners, and Ariba will provide Chinese customers a powerful digital platform to manage their commerce activities from end to end.

The announcement was made at the SAP Select event held in Beijing. SAP Ariba currently has over 500,000 customers in Asia.
