Martin Dow Marker (MDM) Ltd and Martin Dow Marker Specialties (MDMS) will become the first pharmaceutical company in Pakistan to implement SAP’s S/4HANA cloud ERP software suite.
The two companies were formerly known as Merck Pvt Ltd and Merck Specialties Pvt Ltd.
During the project, for which the companies have partnered with Abacus Consulting, a number of SAP modules will be implemented, including financial accounting, controlling, sales distribution, materials management, production planning, plant maintenance, customer service and quality management.
Following the implementation, both companies expect to be able to operate their businesses in real time and with more integration across departments.
