Former Kronos Manager Joins SAP

Leaders coming in and out of SAP’s management team has been bringing about change across the different facets of the business. Now, former Kronos manager, James Thomas’ has moved over to SAP SuccessFactors India. His tenure from the previous company is expected to add value to the operations with his new designation.

James Thomas is the former Country Manager, Sales, and Services for Kronos India. Last August, he began a new journey as part of the management team of SAP SuccessFactors India when he was appointed as its new Vice President. SAP SuccessFactors India is based in Bangalore.

Thomas was an alumnus of NIT, Calicut. He took up Bachelor of Technology and Electronics Engineering and graduated with honors. Early in his career, he has worked with companies such as ALCAN Group’s Indal, Al Saleh Enterprises and Sify Limited.

Before joining Kronos, James Thomas was a Territory Manager then a Senior Manager for Oracle India’s Direct Sales Channels. He was later promoted to General Manager for Oracle India, then a Director for the Asia Pacific. In his seven years stint with Oracle, he handled Australia-New Zealand (ANZ), Greater China, India, and South Asia markets despite the vast difference in approach and culture.

Thomas later joined Kronos and was in service for more than 12 years. During his time with the company, he created a dynamic team of sales and services professional which led to the consolidation of Kronos’ business in India.

Under his leadership, Kronos was able to launch a set of new solutions’ workforce dimensions suite’ which features absence management, analytics, compliance mapping, data collection, scheduling, and timekeeping.
