Sri Lankan diversified business E.B. Creasy Group has gone live with S/4HANA, aiming to update and streamline the company’s digital core.
With over 100 years of operations in Sri Lanka, E.B. Creasy Group has a range of subsidiaries and associate companies across diverse business domains. The group forms part of Colombo Fort Lands and Building Company Plc (CFLB).
The company worked with SAP partners Tech Pacific Lanka Pvt Ltd and vCentric Technologies Pvt Ltd on the implementation.
Lilith Kulasinghe, head of IT for CFLB, said the company understands the value of digitised operations in a digital economy.
“SAP S/4HANA was deployed to assist in redefining core business activities, in order to align with modern business trends. This is in line with our future roadmap to further elevate the efficiency of our digital core, enabling the adoption of a single, scalable business solution across all companies of E.B. Creasy Group,” said Kulasinghe.
The solution went live in early September, with E.B. Creasy becoming the first in Sri Lanka to implement SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Management.
According to vCentric, the project involved 12 companies, 22 business verticals and 45 plants and warehouses. 159 business processes were addressed in the implementation, with 100 common templatised processes used across the group, with 95 per cent SAP best practices adoption.
“It is increasingly becoming necessary for today’s businesses to consolidate internal and external elements into a single, living structure that goes beyond traditional business models,” said Sunil Kharbanda, chief customer officer, SAP Indian Subcontinent. “Customers are central to SAP’s success journey in Sri Lanka. E.B. Creasy Group will lead this digital age through adoption of innovative technologies such as SAP S/4HANA.”
vCentric was recently named SAP S/4HANA partner of the year at the SAP India Partner Summit 2016.
