Education technology organization SpringPeople, which is one of the leading Indian enterprise IT software training providers, has been offering SAP Global Certification training opportunities to those who are interested in furthering their careers in the field.

SAP, an industry leader in enterprise application software, is in a unique position to assist businesses of all sizes by providing a comprehensive training catalog and numerous educational opportunities. In the past few years, SAP Education has been actively working together with a variety of other authorized training providers in order to meet the growing need for upskilling among the Indian working population.

Just last year, SpringPeople became a member of the ever-expanding list of SAP Education partners in India. The provider of IT training for businesses revealed that it had been given the responsibility of providing more than 750 companies with the most recent SAP resources and technologies. The collaboration includes the expansion of SAP Education’s array of tools within customers’ organizations.

SpringPeople Founder and Chief Executive Officer Peeush Bajpai stated that along with SAP, SpringPeople focused on addressing the existing gap in the market for customizable, enterprise-focused, SAP curriculum and course alternatives that enable the workplace preparation of future professionals.

With SpringPeople and SAP Education’s partnership, participants had the opportunity to obtain SAP Cloud Certifications, participate in SAP Security Boot Camps, take part in exclusive private training batches that included hands-on practice on live SAP Servers, create individualized training batches for SAP content, and platform, and subscribe to SAP Learning Hub.

Moreover, SpringPeople also hosted a series of free SAP Career Info sessions last April for recent graduates and working professionals who were willing to pursue a well-paying and extremely in-demand career in the SAP segment. During the workshop, an experienced SAP Subject Matter Expert gave a presentation, which was then followed by a question and answer session, providing an opportunity to address questions and concerns that attendees had regarding a career in SAP Consulting and Advisory.

Delivering SAP Global Certification Initiatives to Upskill the Indian Workforce

According to SpringPeople, a few aspects of SAP contribute to the increasing demand for certified SAP professionals in the market today. These include:

  • By 2022, SAP will have a global need for 55,000 consultants.
  • India will be solely responsible for the development of 35,000 certified consultants and will be a significant contributor to the formation of an SAP pool of resources.
  • In the field of worldwide consulting, SAP consultants earn some of the highest salaries, unlike any other specialists.
  • It is anticipated that the number of SAP experts would increase by 60% by the year 2024, which will result in the creation of $260 billion worth of career possibilities worldwide.

This month, the SAP Training Program for recent college graduates and working professionals was officially introduced by SpringPeople. Founded in 2009, the ed-tech instiution offers live mentor guidance from experienced and qualified SAP consultants with exceptional infrastructure, as well as support for mock tests and mock interviews.

Headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka, SpringPeople is also well-known for offering unlimited interview arrangements in addition to their 100% placement support. The training provider’s most recent learning modules and versions for SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC) and SAP HANA include functional modules, technical modules, techno-functional modules, as well as niche and advanced modules for SAP Hybris, SAP Ariba, SAP HANA, SAP GRC, SAP EWM, SAP TM, SAP TRM, SAP IBP, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Fiori, and SAP Fieldglass.

The future of work calls for more cross-skilling and upskilling initiatives to deal with the constant changes in a dynamic workplace. Committed to creating opportunities through learning and development for all, SAP Education has been collaborating with other training providers to help in upskilling the workforce in India.

According to the India Skills Report 2021 released in February, a huge number of the country’s youth lack the skills needed to become employable. The study has found that only 45.9{aa282f308afcc222aaa21b0478c79e01a8fedd01972e2180867097bd93930f22} of young people would be considered ready for employment, despite India having one of the largest workforces in the world.

Additionally, a report published by the World Economic Forum in January indicated that investment in workforce upskilling could potentially boost India’s economy by $570 billion and that this initiative could add 2.3 million jobs by 2030.

Subramanian Ananthapadmanabhan, Vice President and Head of General Business for SAP Indian Subcontinent, has highlighted the importance of skills development and new models of learning for the country’s workforce. He shared in an interview on World Youth Skills Day last year:

“The current COVID-19 situation has affected the economy greatly as businesses have felt the impact across various sectors not only in India but across the globe. The current need is to enable businesses to digitally evolve themselves and at the same time upskill their workforce to equip them with relevant skills.”

Unveiled in June 2020, SAP India’s Global Bharat initiative aims to do just that. Developed in association with NASSCOM Foundation, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and Pratham InfoTech Foundation, the program enables micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in India by providing them access to innovative sourcing solutions, as well as tools to enhance the workforce’s digital, financial, and soft skills, as they embark on their digital transformation journeys.

Advancing SAP Education Initiatives to Upskill the Indian Workforce

As a market leader in enterprise application software, SAP is well-positioned to support companies of all sizes with its vast training portfolio and learning options. In recent years, SAP Education has been forging partnerships with other training providers to address the demand for upskilling the Indian workforce.

Adding to the growing list of SAP Education partners in India is SpringPeople. The enterprise IT training provider has recently announced that it is now tasked with bringing the latest SAP tools and technology offerings to over 750 enterprises. Peeush Bajpai, CEO and Founder of SpringPeople, said:

“Businesses today need to take meaningful steps to upskill and cross-skill the current and future workforce, regardless of their size or industry. Together with SAP, SpringPeople will focus on filling the current gap in the market for flexible, enterprise-focused, SAP syllabus and courses options that help prepare future workers. This is another example where doing what’s right for learners and doing what’s right for businesses are in perfect harmony.”

As part of the collaboration, enterprises will be able to advance SAP Education’s portfolio of offerings within their organisations. This includes SAP Cloud Certifications, SAP Security Boot Camps, exclusive private training batches with hands-on practice on live SAP Servers, customised training batches for SAP content and platform, and SAP Learning Hub subscriptions.

Commenting on the partnership, Yugesh Jerath, Head of Partner Channel, T&A Solution at SAP, said:

“SpringPeople’s quality training, delivery standards, and outcome-driven approaches closely align with the high-standards SAP Education protocols. We are excited to onboard SpringPeople to strengthen and skill the Indian workforce through SAP tools and technologies.”

Moreover, organisations will have the flexibility to create exclusive private SAP training classes, engage SAP experts for training delivery, manage the course curriculum, and have full control over training dates and batch sizes.
