Darren Rushworth has been appointed as SAP’s new managing director for Singapore, leading the country’s sales, business strategy development and SAP operations.
Rushworth was previously the managing director for SAP Philippines. During his tenure, SAP opened its third office in the Philippines and achieved double digit growth in applications market share.
Rushworth has spent 19 years in Asia holding various roles in sales, marketing, strategic alliances and management.
“Singapore is undergoing a huge transformation to become the world’s first Smart Nation. Big data, analytics and cloud will play a significant role in delivering this vision, and SAP has the solutions and expertise to help make this happen,” Rushworth said.
He reports to François Lançon, president and managing director for SAP Southeast Asia.
