HP has added 50 channel partners, system integrators, service providers, independent software vendors and developers to its HP Helion Network in Asia-Pacific and Japan.

Members of the network will work with HP to deliver open standards-based hybrid cloud services to customers, including workload migrations from traditional IT to the cloud, cloud native and DevOps platforms, data sovereignty, private to public cloud, or the deployment of customised cloud offerings such as multitenant cloud, enterprise data drives, and content-as-a-service.

Some of the cloud partners include Triforce, Oriel and Klikon in Australia, Valuepoint Group, PC Solutions and Shro Systems in India, and Asys, Eden T&S and BayNex in Korea.

“The HP Helion Network leverages our expertise from running OpenStack technology at scale and our ability to unite service providers and technology partners who want to drive a transformational journey for themselves and their customers,” said Aman Neil Dokania, vice president and general manager, Cloud, HP Asia Pacific & Japan.

“Together, we’ve built a federated ecosystem that enables organisations to transform with partners who know the best path for their customers and can deploy services on the right platform at the right time and at the right cost for their business.”

HP will provide Helion Network partners with dedicated training, workshops, hands-on sessions, and collaborative sales and marketing programs, as well as flexible IT investment and consumption models through HP Financial Services.

Abbas Aly, director for Triforce Australia, said, “The HP Helion suite of solutions provides the best tools to manage the private, hybrid and public cloud demands of today’s customers. Its single-pane simplicity which enables a seamless switch from their private cloud straight through to managing their public cloud offerings from vendors like Amazon is a winner, and its OpenStack offerings in a non-binding environment ensure that customers can quickly adopt cloud in their enterprises.”

At SAP’s SAPPHIRE NOW event in May, SAP and HP announced that SAP S/4HANA would be offered on the HP Helion Managed Cloud. In June, HP introduced the latest release of HP Helion CloudSystem and enhancements to its HP Helion Managed Cloud services – both to help enterprises transition to a hybrid cloud infrastructure.
