In the past, Scott Russell, who is now the Executive Board Member and Head of Customer Success at SAP and the former SAP APJ President, predicted that Asia would take the lead in the Business Transformation as a Service (BTaaS) offering RISE with SAP adoption as businesses in the region continue to commit resources to business transformation using cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions. This transition is particularly evident in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, India, and Vietnam.

Shark Le Hung Anh (Mr. Jimmy Lee), Chairman at BIN Corporation Group, emphasized that the Group’s administration must be brought into the modern era immediately by implementing a digital transformation plan. The BIN Corporation Group is able to consolidate all of its operations into a single database thanks to the use of a digital platform. By doing so, the company’s top brass can work together more cohesively on corporate governance, and processes can flow more easily from one department to the next.
This past week saw the formal signing of a SAP S/4HANA Cloud solution project collaboration agreement between BIN Corporation Group, SAP Vietnam, and IT services provider ATS Vietnam. It is hoped that SAP S/4HANA Cloud would facilitate BIN Corporation Group’s digital transformation and system-wide standardization. The Group will be using efficiencies to be ready for the next stage of its development, with the goal of becoming a diversified, high-tech enterprise with a permanent foothold in the global economy.
Utilizing SAP S/4HANA, A Cloud-Based ERP Solution
In accordance with the terms of the agreement, SAP Vietnam will be responsible for coordinating with BIN Corporation Group to implement the SAP ERP S/4HANA project and providing advice on the selection of appropriate digital solutions for the company’s business consulting, financial consulting, e-commerce, and tourism operations. The real-time integration of several business processes provided by SAP ERP paves the way for management that is both more flexible and more effective, ultimately leading to increased productivity.
Moreover, the following modules were developed, implemented, verified, and put into operation within the project’s 12-month time frame:

- Sales Management
- Performance Management
- Project Management
- Purchasing Management
- Financial Management
In a bid to effectively implement the SAP S/4 HANA Cloud solution, it is vital to have the backing of the Board of Directors of BIN Corporation Group, the dedication of the team, and the commitment of ATS Vietnam. In addition, SAP Vietnam collaborates often with ATS Vietnam and the BIN Corporation Group in order to ensure that the project will be successful.
