Analyst firm Forrester has identified the 10 most significant vendors delivering SAP-related services to global, regional, and local customers in its latest report, ‘The Forrester Wave: SAP Service Providers in Asia Pacific, Q2 2015’.
Vendors in the report, which evaluated contenders on 34 criteria, were Abeam Consulting, Accenture, Deloitte, Fujitsu, Infosys, NTT Data, PwC, SAP Asia Pacific Japan, TCS and Wipro.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) ranked among the top four vendors, and was positioned in the Leaders category. TCS was highly ranked by Forrester due to its very strong growth in the region in recent years, strong ambitions, and the investments and commitments necessary to support those plans. TCS was favoured for its strength as a business transformation service provider with very significant geographic and breadth and depth of expertise, as well as exposure to large, complex technology and business projects, and innovative projects leveraging newer elements of the SAP technology portfolio. TCS also ranked highest for client satisfaction amongst all vendors in the report.
“TCS customers provided very positive feedback on value for money, access to global best practices, and overall satisfaction,” said Fred Giron, VP and research director, Forrester. “TCS has developed a strong local footprint with large local clients in AP markets, including the main ASEAN countries and Japan and is flexible enough to handle large, complex SAP implementations as well as smaller, more innovation-focused projects.”
