Shinvansh Solutions Pvt. Rizing, LLC, a privately-held multinational company providing leading SAP functional and technical services to its customers, announced today the acquisition of Synchrony Global, an SAP SuccessFactors Professional Services Firm headquartered in Singapore, with offices throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Synchrony Global is a market leader in Asia Pacific with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors Certified Professionals as well as a strong Business Process Outsourcing service. Synchrony joins /N SPRO HCM, Aasonn and 3D Results as part of Rizing’s Human Capital Management (HCM) business, which was recently rebranded as Rizing HCM.

In a bid to help enterprises integrate cloud-based people and organisational data across their businesses, SAP SE has introduced the SAP SuccessFactors People Central Hub solution.

Designed to overcome obstacles companies face in embracing cloud solutions, the tool integrates data from disparate systems to make it available for use by other SAP enterprise applications, such as S/4HANA. Once implemented, customers will be able to provide their staff with access to new consumer-friendly tools such as the recently redesigned mobile HCM app for iOS devices, to gain mobile access to organisational charts and employee profiles.

SAP has connected SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Planning and SAP RealSpend solutions to provide managers with real-time visibility into financial forecasts of headcount plans and help improve expense controls and alignment between HR and finance.

The announcement was made at this week’s SuccessConnect event in Las Vegas.

SAP SuccessFactors Workforce Planning is a cloud-based solution to enable ongoing operational headcount planning throughout the year, in response to changing business conditions and shifting organisational needs, while SAP RealSpend, part of the SAP S/4HANA Cloud for finance portfolio, provides live access to budget and spending information.

Together, the two solutions will interoperate to provide increase accuracy of headcount forecasts through access to real-time detailed financial data included ‘hidden expenses’ such as workspace costs and travel; improved cost controls through being able to respond to actual spending data; and have data from both HR and finance shared in the same source, for closer alignment.

The connection will be generally available with the SAP SuccessFactors Q3 2017 solution release.

SAP has unveiled a series of new human resources scenario-specific capabilities in SAP Jam Collaboration at this week’s SuccessConnect event in Las Vegas.

The new features will enable enhanced mentoring and coaching with the SAP SuccessFactors Succession and Development solution. Mentors and mentees will more easily share knowledge across various coaching programs, and they can create private mentoring groups.

Also introduced is self-service information for HR help desk, to assist in streamlining operations and reducing help desk resolution time, with an optional integration for the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solution. Visibility into the SAP Jam knowledge base from directly within the ‘Ask HR’ application, which allows employees to access the same information available to service desk agents.

The platform will provide customers with the ability to engage with their learners on a daily basis, using gamification and feedback to drive high levels of engagement.

“We see great importance in becoming an SAP partner,” said Gal Rimon, founder and CEO, GamEffective. “Many learning and development organisations understand that the future of learning is evolving from course completion to continuous learning, with on-demand knowledge available to learners as they need it.

SAP has qualified a new rapid deployment solution developed by YASH Technologies to help its customers quickly adopt SAP SuccessFactors software.

The solution incorporates pre-configured content for SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite based on well-defined options and best practices, as well as tailored HR line-of-business processes and methods. Built-in data migration templates, pre-defined test scripts and training accelerators help speed up the deployment process and reduce the cost of implementation.

“YASH has been at the forefront of helping its clients manage their critical human capital function efficiently. Combining our broad HCM domain knowledge with the in-depth capabilities of SAP SuccessFactors software, we have been helping customers drive HR transformation,” said Raj Jogam, director, SAP HCM and SF practice, YASH Technologies.

“The robust YASH solution will help accelerate time to value and reduce costs while allowing deployment flexibility. Clients will be able to leverage their existing on-premise HR technology investments and combine them with YASH software for a smart hybrid solution.”

YASH recently won an implementation contract with American Railcar Industries (ARI), a North American designer and manufacturer of hopper and tank railcars. SAP Greater China has signed seven new customers for SAP SuccessFactors in the first half of 2017.

Among the Chinese companies choosing SuccessFactors this year were:

•    Apparel company Bosideng International Holdings Limited will use SuccessFactors solutions to develop a new HR management platform to decrease manual paperwork, increase employee engagement, and provide greater career and performance capabilities.
•    Leading retailer E-Life Mall will use SuccessFactors solutions with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba to enable an enterprise-wide digital transformation, including the standardisation and centralisation of core processes, for its 340 stores.
•    Private investment bank GF Securities has deployed SuccessFactors Performance and Goals to provide employees with a leading workforce management platform to support talent development and align business targets for cloud-based, strategy-driven systems.
•    Hubei Xin Yang Feng Fertiliser, which has chosen SAP S/4HANA as its digital core, as well as SAP SuccessFactors solutions as its HR platform, to help it continue to attract and retain top talent.
•    Ningbo Economic and Technical Development Zone Holding Co, which operates logistics, real estate, financial investment and environmental protection public utilities businesses, which will adopt SucessFactors solutions together with S/4HANA and SAP Leonardo services. This will enable the company to power a new Smart Manufacturing Innovation Centre in Ningbo to speed development of intelligent manufacturing.
•    Shanghai Qiniu Information Technologies chose the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Performance and Goals solutions to help engage and retain its most talented employees and enable greater efficiency through real-time information and data analysis.
•    Suzhou Anjie Technology, a provider of functional insulting and cushion materials, will pursue an Industry 4.0 strategy using digitally enabled technologies, data tools and analytics across the value chain, powered by SAP SuccessFactors and S/4HANA. The company expects to gain return on investment from employee training, as well as improved productivity and employee satisfaction.

SAP SE has appointed veteran employee Greg Tomb as president of SAP SuccessFactors, to oversee the company’s cloud HCM solution business.

Tomb has been with SAP for 19 years, and most recently led the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud business, as well as sales for SAP’s Global Services organisation. Previously, Tomb served as president of SAP’s North America region and as executive vice president of global cloud sales.

Tomb also served as CEO of Vivido Labs and held management positions at Accenture Consulting and Cqomergent Technologies.
