Malaysian networking systems integrator, Diversified Gateway Berhad (DGB), is the first partner to provide NTT Communications’ Global Management One (GMOne) managed services in Malaysia as part of NTT Com’s expansion strategy in the region, following on the heels of expansion in Singapore and Hong Kong.

“Malaysia is a rapidly developing market and one of the key Southeast Asian markets for us,” said Hirofumi Miyama, senior vice president, managed services, NTT Com.

The partnership will see the companies joining forces to develop Malaysia-based solutions incorporating NTT Com’s GMOne managed services and DGB’s enterprise network and infrastructure services. DGB is part of the Diversified Gateway Solutions Berhad (DGSB) group of companies.

GMOne services assist medium and large enterprises to manage an increasingly complex and hybrid ICT environment from infrastructure through business applications to business services. GMOne employs 24×7 remote monitoring and management to help organisations to make full use of their hybrid ICT without compromising security or reliability.

DGB will provide consulting services in the areas of network design, deployment and optimisation. NTT Com will provide fully managed, end-to-end operations and management of multi-vendor environments. Services will be delivered through global delivery centres in seven countries as well as through DGB’s field operations in Malaysia.

“We are very proud to partner with NTT Com and be the first in Malaysia to offer their GMOne managed services to midsize and large enterprise customers,” said Dato’ Dr Tan Seng Chuan, executive director, DGSB. “We see the market potential and our customers are looking for such comprehensive managed services.”

As a part of the GMOne Partner Program, DGB will gain specialised certification training on GMOne managed services through the GMOne Academy, NTT Com’s educational program for program partners.

Emerio Malaysia, an NTT Communications company, will assist DGB in joining the partner program, with go-to-market and pre-sales activities, and in transitioning DGB’s customers to GMOne.

Business strategy and technology group Vantis Consulting Group is the first Hong Kong partner to join NTT Communications managed partner program.

Under the agreement, Vantis, which provides services primarily in Hong Kong, Macau, China, and Taiwan, will resell NTT Communications’ Global Management One (GMOne) managed services, cloud and hosting solutions.

Mantis’ strong expertise in the SAP arena was a major drawcard in the partnership.

“We are excited to welcome Vantis as our first partner for GMOne in Hong Kong,” said Hirofumi Miyama, senior vice president of managed services, NTT Communications.

“By leveraging their strong implementation track record and local expertise for deploying cloud business applications for enterprises, especially SAP applications, we will be able to expand our footprint in Asia and ensure that our end customers get the right services and support they need in their cloud migration journey.”

The two companies already partner on NTT’s Enterprise Cloud Marketplace, which was launched in 2016.

According to NTT Communications, GMOne managed services are designed to help businesses manage hybrid ICT ecosystems – an area tipped by analyst firm Gartner to grow strongly, with 90 per cent of organisations to adopt hybrid infrastructure management by 2020. With new IT models such as the Internet of Things, blockchain and artificial intelligence making ICT needs more complex, enterprises are increasingly seeking agile, efficient and cost-effective cloud-based and automated managed services.

Dr Rocky Lam, CEO of Vantis, said the company is proud to be furthering its partnership with NTT Communication in Hong Kong.

“The partnership cements our business objectives and helps us to better meet the ICT needs of our expanding pool of customers. It will definitely help us to build deeper relationships with our existing customers as they transform their business to become more digital and embrace new technological advances,” said Dr Rocky Lam, CEO, Vantis.

Using automation to optimise operations, ATLAS for SAP assists enterprises with a range of business transformations including SAP HANA migration, private/public cloud deployment and SAP S/4 HANA implementation.

ATLAS for SAP combines a suite of SAP tools and methodologies, including SAP Solution Manager and the Activate methodology, with Mindtree’s SAP HANA expertise and experience managing cloud infrastructure and testing platforms. Mindtree has also successfully applied both Agile and DevOps concepts to SAP.

“ATLAS for SAP from Mindtree makes it possible for customers to run their business with minimal disruption while using the power of SAP HANA and the cloud in their journey towards a smarter and nimbler SAP landscape,” said Arun Rangaraju, Mindtree’s senior vice president and global head for SAP.
